After speaking to a few boys coming in from a Sunday trip...I felt the need to try some uncharted waters....So we leave Squan around 200am head out approx 105 miles to the 100 line just south of the Dip area..There was a nice break on a very updated temp chart, so we took a shot...took awhile to find the break where I went but when we finally did...we had bait marks then fish marks then Rods singing our song...On board we had the Andy, Jeff, Bobby, Mike, John and Vinnie show...We started with a triple header and only boated one fish...but had a little mishap as the angler on the one fish ended up with a case of heat exhaustion... But my Cappy Mitch brought him back just nicely, we continued to pick away with a few shots of Mahi...Then came the surprise fish a Wahoo first for 2010 a decent fish probably around 20 poounds All in all I think we ended the day 2 for 7 on Yellowfin not a great ratio but whose counting a few Mahi up to 15lbs and a decent Wahoooooo!!
