for April 17th-25th out of Little River SC. Save the dates and come join us! It promises to be another fantastic tourney. Last years winner TEAM HOOYAH brought an 88lber to the scales and walked away with $15,500 bucks.

The event is an all charitable tourney that benefits the Shrine Hospitals of the Carolinas. Last two years we have raised over $22,000 for the organization.

The format is BIG FISH but has Calcuttas for TUNA, MAHI and WAHOO. Fishing days to include April 17th-25th with a Captains Choice of which day they choose. One day of fishing per boat. This allows for smaller boats to be a part of the tourney and pick their fishing day.

The Captains meeting will be held at MARTINIS FINE DINING on the 12th of April in North Myrtle Beach and dinner will be served.

So far the new year has seen an awesome wahoo bite on the ledges off Little River with several 80-100lb fish being weighed between Wilmington and Charleston.

The main goal of this tourney is to bring the community and the fisherman to together to raise money for a great cause. REMEMBER......this is a 100% Charitable Tournamet. All proceeds raised are donated to the SHRINE HOSPITALS of the CAROLINAS.

ANY TEAM FISHING FROM A PORT OTHER THAN LITTLE RIVER THAT WEIGHS A FISH IN THIS TOURNAMENT AND NEEDS TO OVERNIGHT IN NORTH MYRTLE BEACH PRIOR TO THEIR RETURN TO THEIR HOME PORT WILL BE PROVIDED WITH LODGING THE NIGHT OF THEIR WEIGH IN. A LOCAL INDIVIDUAL HAS DONATED THE USE OF THEIR VACATION HOME DURING THE WEEK OF THE TOURNEY. TOURNAMENT WILL SEE THAT TEAM HAS TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM LODGING.

FRANK......all are welcome. We just wanta have a great time and raise some cash for the Angels that do so much in the Shriners Hospitals. And with nine days to choose from consisting of two weekends, I know you can pick a great day to fish your rig. Ill even point you in the right direction! Call up Kenny and you boys plan on coming down. You know I got a place for your crew to stay too. We might even get on a Sqweeler while youre down.

I went to Martini's website. Sounds like an affordable entry. I've only fished in a local tournament here at home, we did pretty good last year.But I don't know much about the rules during these things. Will I need to have a SC liscence to fish out of there? If so do you know about how much a non-resident is for salt water? I've obvioulsy got my hunting liscence, but not a saltwater liscence. SC may not even have a saltwater liscence, but we do here in NC. How many days can we fish in the tournament? Thanks, Frank

Frank....you will have to have a SC Saltwater Fishing License. 14 day non resident is $11.
