    Homemade Lures: Bullet & Teaser

Here are a few pics of some lures that I am about to pour up. The Alfalfa bottle is going to take 20 oz. of goo and the bullet (.50 cal) is going to take 16 o.z. These are going to be pretty good sized. Thats the alfalfa bottle in the background of the first pic.

I make my own lures... the problem your gonna run into is your going to have to cut the bottle free of the resin. Not that big a deal I suppose, but be prepared for that.

I use pill bottles, and then shape them on a drill or lathe. Good luck! Its a blast to do, and you will have fishing buds bugging you for lures for now on!

After I poured them up, I set them outside on my fiance's balcony to dry. We went out to dinner and when we came back, they were gone. I went out walking around the complex and found them on a 2nd floor apt. I got a rope and managed to get the bullet back, but the other was gone. Now I need to get some skirts for it.

I will file a complaint come Monday, but I just don't think that petty theft will rank to high with the Houston Police Dept.
