I have a frigid rigid with the offset lid. Works great as a main beverage cooler and fits und the gunnel of my boat. Holds a 40lb bag of ice for five days in dirrect sun, but is very heavy. Not sure I would use it for a fish box as the inside capacity for the exterior size of the box is is not great. That said, it is a top quality product. I love being able to top off my beverages at the end of a weekend, and just drain and add more ice the following weekend. I hate throwing out unopened beer that has been cooked in a hot cooler!

The best cooler for the money... The 165qt Igloo All-Terrain. A couple things...
1. It has detachable air filled, rubber tires. They are easy on off. If you put heavy stuff in it, it makes life super easy. No looking for a dock cart to transport a cooler full of ice, fish, bait, whatever from truck to boat. Especially if tide heights are an issue. I've filled mine with a few flats of macks, ice, and soda to the weight of over 100lbs., easy, and have had no problems and it still rolls perfectly.
2. It has a raised lid which adds about six inches of height to it's capacity, and has drink holders in the top.
3. Has a access panel in the lid as well so you don't have to open the entire lid, especially if you have crap piled on top of it or space is an issue.
4. I kept two bushels of shaved ice in it for over a week in the Bahamas in the summer, so it keeps ice real well. I have also kept a few frozen flats of bait in it without ice during an overnighter and for more than 72 hours the bait was still frozen when we got back so it wasn't wasted, we could put it back in the house freezer.
5. Parts are readily available if you break something.
6.165qt., you can find for well under 200 bucks.
I sound like an Igloo salesman for cryin out loud.
Anyway, one thing I did and would reccomend is to modify it a little. Take off the standard handles, buy a dowel, 1-1.5", cut to about 6-8", drill two holes in each and use a piece of 1/4" nylon line to complete the new handles. Makes a world of difference and allows you to pull it without having to have the long plastic handle that it comes with.
True, there may be better coolers out there but for the price, you can't go wrong. I've owned a ton of different coolers over the years and would have paid double because of the pnumatic wheels. If you want a picture of how I customized mine, PM me your email.
Sorry for making this so long winded but you obviously are looking for advice if you started this thread, and these things aren't cheap, they're almost an investment.
Google it: 165QT Igloo All-Terrain. Found mine new on Ebay for 140.
Make sure you look at the All Terrains by Igloo they come in different sizes. The wheels are key!
Good luck!

We use a YETI it holds ice really well, it has rubber feet so it will not slide, and just seems to be built really well.
I have been wanting the Yeti for a while. So if anyone is coming down and wants to bring me a 50qt Yeti that would be AWESOME! Oh yeah...And a ARBY's Roast Beef....mmmmm the only thing I really miss.![]()
The 200 quart SSI is a solid cooler. Holds ice really well and is manageable in size.
Yetis are awesome.....but look in the CABELAS catalogue at the outfitters coolers. Got one in their that we used on a hunt last year that kept ice for a week on a deer carcass. It looks a little different but its TUFF!!
