when are we gonna start seeing YFT's? Should be pretty soon, right?

I was wondering if you ever go chunking for them, or blues on standup gear.

Id LOVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEE to go chunking for some tuna some day this year on stand up gear.

I really, REALLY wanna catch a nice yf on stand up 30lb gear. would be a great thing for me, know id be fight'n em for a while, but i can take a 3-4 hr fight. ill just be whooped at the end. longest i ever fought something was this summer on 50lb stand up gear on buddies boat. we hooked something on a two pound live bluefish, which i believe to be a B I G shark, i fought it for almost 5 hrs. and the 100lb momoi diamond top shot gave way about 5 ft from the main rig, 10 ft of cable. I WAS EXHAUSTED.but would do it again in a second.

anyways, lemme know about stand up on some tuna please.

The rare times I get to fight a fish my butt WILL NOT hit the fighting chair. I only go toe to toe with the finned ones in a stand up mode.

Price on YFT has been little low this past spring. But you are right, shouldn't be long now.

If the price is good and we can make a whole $0.25 on a commercial trip with these high full prices, I will go.
