Pitch bait- you mentioned fishing with Jose Acostimadiedo. Is he a member on this site? I fished with him a few years ago in the Pirates Cove Tournament and would like to say Hello.
I don't know that I have much to add...Bobby put out some great info that is dead on and Trophy followed it up with more great info. Couple of other things...don't be afraid to pull the throttles back before you get to your target area if the water conditions look fishy. Done it many times down in Hatteras, headed 180 degrees to the 30 fathom line and end up pulling 'em back in 20-25 fathoms on a great break and load the boat in no time. Also, I will put the boat in a circle over a bait pile and make tighter and tighter circles until I get a bite...can't do it with your stuff stretched way back but if you are yellowfinning with a tight spread, it works. Great thread guys, who's next?
