Help with spreader bars, electrolysis aluminum and titanium??

I plan on making some titanium spreader bars. I did learn that when using aluminum crimps with any kind of "stainless steel" cable or bar some kind of electrolysis takes place and the aluminum corrodes at a much faster rate. Does any one know if aluminum crimps would be compatable with a "titanium" bar?

Titanium is more noble than SS so it reacts more when in contact with aluminum. Save yourself time and wasted R&D work and buy a few Archer Bars, no metal.

    Galvanic Capatability

you will find that most crimps contain allot of zinc and as long as there is no electrolysis present they will not corrode try this, place one of your crimps and a piece of your Titanium in a glass of vinegar and water with a piece of steel (washer or nail) if it does not corrode in a few days your all set. to learn more go here.

PS: I stopped making bars out of Titanium use 1/8" Monel wire cheaper and can be welded. it also bends and does not break. (titanium breaks and is hard to bend back) we buy our bars from R A Braun in Marshfield Mass.
    www.squidbars.com is our company.
Titanium Bar way more expensive and not worth it but alot of guys like them so we do sell them.
