My dad and I are most likely moving the boat sometime around the 18th for a few days chasing bft. We came down awhile back and stayed in Beaufort. Just wanted some input from you guys on what you think is the most convenient place for us hang out for a few days. Probably won't have access to a car, so proximity to the inlet as well as restaurants is important. Would be coming from OI. Thanks guys.
Beaufort Town Docks would be a good choice for a few days without transportation. Plenty of places to eat, etc right there, and I think they still have a loaner car in case you need to run to the grocery store.

Morehead City Yacht Basin is great if they have room. Easy walking distance
to a number of restaurants, the Ace HW store for marine supplies...
