Mike my brother had the same problem over and over again he finally had a friend who had a machine shop mill him the same mounts out of stainless steel and has had no problems since this was a fix although costly but has been trouble free ever since he took in one of the old mounts and they machined stainless mockups problem solved, just a idea!!!PEACE

Mike do you have down angle trans? Did you repower from any other engines and use the same basic engine beds and if so what gears and engines came out? I would think you have 220A 10 degree down angles now, what gear ratio and what size wheels are you turning?Twin or single engine application and if twin is it the same side when this happens?

    Stingers?

Make Sure your Engine Stringers (or beds) are not moving.

My experience with broken motor mounts was caused by loose and moving engine stringers.

Look for cracks where they join the bottom of the boat and bulkheads.

Run the boat and watch them, when going over boat wakes.

If they are moving, break your mounts every time.
