Hey Roddy...you forgot one of the biggest Hays Handle fans of them all - ME!

Long story short, I consider it one of those great fishing tackle devices that very few fishermen know about or use...kind of like those Hays Handles, yet another simply wonderful invention. Oh well! Comes with the territory.

I hope lot of of people are taking Roddy up on this offer- ESPECIALLY those who chase Bluefin. If you fish heavy tackle they are a must use...use them once and you will never go back to a rod with out them.

No, I didn't invent it.

So, if you want to copy it, as per your usual approach to someone else's good idea, you'll have to deal with Roddy, not me.

Roddy is my friend of long standing. He is a brilliant man who, unlike you, has invented some very fine fishing tackle items. Also unlike you, he is also a proven, world class angler. But in spite of that and our friendship I wouldn't recommend any product of his or anyone else's without having tried it thoroughly and having found it to be everything its creator claimed it to be. And the stark fact is that I tested one of the very first sets of his Hays Handles long ago, when he was first making prototypes...long before you were even in the fishing tackle business.
