What's the length and price point on those? Nice job.
Those are a nice alternative to a Black Bart, what's the price point?
There isn't other than its' shape..so I guess I could have called it a "Locknut", taper 2/3 front - 1/3 rear or modified "knucklehead", taper 3/4 front 1/4 rear, where the basic shape denotes a plunger modified taper and they were born in Hawaii.
Actually, a true plunger is 1/3 front taper with an angled nose..so since these have all three..perhaps I should have called it a "Modified Hawaiian Locknut Knucklehead Plunger"...

Hmmmm... To me more or less a classic slant with back end taper. More specifically a classic slant long pull which is designed to run straighter faster. More reminisent of a 1656 mart design than a "plunger" or really any "kona" to it. The true plungers have less of a taper in the aft section of the head. A kona is a complete;y different concept with a curvature to the slant being on the lower face as opposed to upper. The kona "scoop" is designed to dig and swim a bait. A slant works on hydraulic premise and shoots the water up and over as it breaks the surface. Properly cut that plume of water should land at the back of the skirt and create "action" at the tail section of the lure imparting the preception of "tail kick".![]()

If you guys want to name it..im all ears..not locked into the name at all. However, it does have to fit on the belly space available for the name.
Actually it's not even close to a 1656 at all:

It's pretty close. The 1656 shown is distorted being face toward the camera. Not exact mind you though. .. What you need to do with names is develop a niche... My names were basically earthy and crude. Masher, Crusher, Killer, deck stacker, slob slayer, squasher and so on... I often add position in the title like rigger savage, flat fillet collector, inside intimidator...
Some guys have gone to putting names of places in their names. Some descriptive about meals. Some using names from their native country. Some include species names...
The possibilities are endless. Name em after fast cars, fast planes, cool drinks, birds, snakes, guns, carnivores... Pick something like that and run with a range.
