Hatteras/OI GOING OFF!!

Just heard from a good buddy that 93 Billfish were released out of OI yesterday! Great numbers out of Hatteras too!!! DAMN!!!! I am missing it!! Could be a great tourney month coming up!!! Great fishing!


Anyone got some reports?

OI had 93 (pirates cove and fishing center)
Trophy Hunter (fishing center) double slam 2 blues 3 whites 4 sails
Obsession (pirates cove) 8 whites 5 sails

Hatteras 28 Whites 26 sails 2 blues

Morehead City also got into them but dont have all the numbers
Dun-Rite 1 blue 1 sail
Bill Collector (Monday) grand slam 1 blue 3 whites 1 sail
Frequent Flyer (mon) 4 sails

I am pretty sure these numbers are right but not positive

I heard that Bite Me has had a good couple days with a white on Saturday the 18th, a white and a sail on Sunday (19th) and going 5 for 9 on bills on Monday the 20th, releasing three whites and two sails.

Offshore boats had scattered catches of Dolphin, Wahoo, and Black fin Tuna. The billfish are still biting the Hatteras Fleet released 17 White Marlin, 13 Sailfish and 3 Blue Marlin. Bite Me released 2 Sailfish, Gambler released 1 White Marlin and 2 Sailfish, Godspeed released 3 White marlin and 2 Sailfish, Lucky Chip released a Blue Marlin, and Sea Creature released a White Marlin

Offshore a good showing of bill fish. I counted two blue marlin, seventeen white marlin and eight sailfish flags. Two good size wahoos were caught one weighed 56 pounds. Some good dolphin catches including a big gaffer. Two boats had 10 yellowfin tuna each. Several blackfin tunas were caught.
