Talking Hatteras Offshore Report 10/16 from the Bite Me

    Great Day

I kind of had a feeling fishin would be good today, but usually I am wrong and dissapointed.

    Not today.

Nearly 600 pounds of Tuna and Dolphin caught by our crew from the Richmond Area.

Bunch of Hokies on the boat, but they were all right.

Great fishing, we all had a big time.

    Pretty weather to boot.

    Fall fishin, I love it!

    Go Mountaineers!

    Very nice catch

Great day and it looks like the tuna are down your way now. Tuna fishing is starting to slow down up this way with the cooler water arriving offshore in our area now. Great day and we could only dream of having a day like that trolling up here without chunking the fish overnight. Great catch and picture

    Talking Chunkin?

We generally don't chunk, except in rare occasions when the current stops and the fish are stacked.

    On the Troll.

Oh yeah, We were done at 12:15 and headed home.

    Not sure anymore

    Nice work Jay

Glad to see the tunas made it down your way. Did you fish the southern edge of the eddy? My brother went 7-20 on Sunday . They went 2 for their first 10 in pitch black.
