Hatteras Meat Tournament

I remember someone saying a while back that they were trying to get a meat tournament together for Hatteras Memorial day. Did this ever get put together or is it going to have to wait another year?

Yes it is still in the works, probably will be kind of informal this year but we want to do it, you can get up with myself or Jersey (Captain of the Reliance)

Format we are thinking off. Money for bigest single wahoo, tuna or dolphin, biggest stringer two days, weight up to two of each species.

What do you all think of that?

That sounds like it would be a lot of fun. I fished a tournament like that last year down in Ocean Isle and I imagine it would be even better up there in Hatteras. I would definitely try and make it.
