Hatteras Island 2/26/09

OK real quick Fellas..Team No Show Flying Scud went out of Hatteras today...Underway before sunrise.. Sitting on the Rock Pile 35 mts later.. Water looked great, was real clear and slick, not much current, a bit cold 53... And it was Slow.. Not even an AJ... I managed 1 bonita, and a nice seabass, before Guys were complaining it was too much work.. So we decided to hit the troll. Threw the spread out and started cruising, just enjoying a beautiful day on the water, and looking forward to spending the whole day out there... When FREAKINGTUNANUTSAMANIA ended all that real quick and we got to call it a day early. Caught her on a little more than a 1/2 spooled 30, on the smallest Ballyhoo we had, we were looking for blackfins.. We had caught one right before this baby exploded the spread... Im not complaining.. Got to use the tuna door.....

Pretty work on the Tuna.

We were up the line from you a little ways in some 60 degree water and had a steady pick of Jacks, Albies, and even caught a few tiles on jigs.
