Hatteras 3-27-09

We planed to fish out of O I but at the last minute we went to HI . Put lines in at the 000 in bout 1200' we worked that area for a while and soon we were passed by the fleet. We question if we should run deper but decided to work that area all by ourselfs. Well it worked well as we relased a 300-400 blue marlin( this was my frist fish since my costa rica heartattack) . After the marlin we headed south in the deep and worked a nice weed line and put some verry nice Mahia's in the box. Headed to the rock pile and on the way we boated a 50 lb hoo. finished the day at the roock pile on the jugs with amberjacks. Nice to see the blue water and not be in pain.

Hell Yea.. Heard you guys on the radio saying she was putting on a show.. We did OI and it was chitty.. Water was colder and I think the majority of the action is still down south.
