You're the guy on the rig. They know how safe domestic oil drilling has become. They are the messengers back to our current administration. I could give them an ear full. We need to stop the enviro nonsense and use the resources provided to us by this great country.

MMS just enforces the policy. They are directed by the puppet masters. You wont be telling MMS anything they dont already know. What it boils down to is essentially the same argument as whether or not Tequila Ted wants to see windmills or oil rigs off the vineyard.

I think it goes a lot further than Tequila Ted. The enviros have terrified the public here in the NE having them believe that if a drill goes in oils spurts everywhere soaking beaches, killing wildlife and destroying the economy of all coastal communities. The public believes these lies and many will fight tooth and nail against domestic oil drilling.

I say drill and drill now! Im tired of being dependant on these other countries to provide our fuel. But if we drill at home, dont ship it overseas to be sold , sell it here!! If we are to utilize our own resources then we should be using the oil.

Sure there are risk but arent there risk in everything we do?

The benefit to fishing will be compounded over time. So I say lets drill now!

Capt. Len, I apologize. We are both on the same side. I get kinda touchy if I even get a slight sense of someone faulting the oil industry for our eviromental problems. My Dad was an oilman all his life and after I spent 24 years in the Navy, my last 20 years have been spent in the Gulf oil fields running a supply vessel. Keep the drilling going! It isn't the rigs or their procedures to blame. Capt. Bill
