Has any one been fishing off Singer Island?

How has the fishing been off Singer Island? I have not heard any good reports exept for the hammerhead. We will be trolling dead baits and plastics (no kites or googls). Would like to put Kelly on some sailfish this trip!

When we left the other dya there was all kinds of life right out front where I had you guys last year. Look for edges noot too deep and the dolphin, sails and neeters ought to be there... There were some permit in the inlet too. White half ounce jig tipped with live shrimp at the beginning of the incomming at the end of the south jetty. Short drifts...

    Paul,

If she didnt get in the way I wouldnt have to hip check her .
It is realy the other way around .

It is good to hear there is something out there, now I hope the weather is good for us. If it is we will be going out 10 days in a row starting next Friday. We are going to put our time in and use what you taught us about catching saildogs!!!

    Thanks again Paul

Heading down for 10 days next Friday myself. Picking up our new boat and going to sailfish marina for the week. Give me a shout I will let you know what we are seeing, I may run south a few days to chase the sails. Name of the boat is Judge. This will be our first trip on the new rig, hope the weather is as good as it has been recently. Let me know your boats name and we will keep in touch I have local crew that can steer us to some fish

    JMiner,
We go to Sailfish marina quite often for dinner or cocktails, because it is a short walk home. If you want we could meet you at Sailfish for a drink and B/S about fishing.
We will be fishing on my fathers boat a 30' Grady named The First Lady.

Not to pry, but where do you keep your boat in Cape May? We are at Bree Zee Lee marina.

    Chris,

the new 64 will be at the canyon club, we had a 52 there for the last few years. the 32 albe will be in the CC slip then is at my partners house in Avalon when the 64 comes north. Please stop by and say hello, I am trying to find guys to fish that week. Right now it is my son and I and the crew.

    JMiner,
I dont know how you are set as far as crew on Friday. If you become short handed for the ride over and need extra deck hands to get her to her slip, just let me know.

If not we will stop by on Sat. after fishing.

    Good luck with her.
