half day trip 11/22/11

Pulled together a last minute, short near shore trip, so the lift went down and we pushed off at about 8:15. Ran to some ledges about 20 miles out, and started hitting some ledges. Immediately we began getting racked up with monster sea bass, that we painfully had to release. By the end of the day we easily had released over 50 pounds of big bass…. :-(



Continued to pluck around, picking up lots of sharks and other critters. Finally on the third spot Chandler came through with the hot hand!



Also had another short gag, and a large flounder and an octopus. Not bad for only a few hours on the water. By now it was about 2:00, so we headed to the hill on the lake Atlantic. Gorgeous weather and slick calm, glass water all day. I couldn’t have asked for more!

What kind of jig was he using on the greys?

BTW, love the boat. My buddy has a 2009 36 YF w trip 350s.... talk about holy water rockets....

Circle hook and dead bait was the key, and he utilized them well!

Boat is awesome! We love it..."only in a yellowfin!"
