I go out and get stupid Bonitonot the ggood eating atlantic species either and spanish mackrel.

Water temp 66* and the king mackrel moving out of the area quick , still get the regular reef and wreck local fish but the migration is in high gear after the cold front last week.

Wish I was fishing in Costa Rica or the Guld Stream for Tuna ,Sailfish and wahoo.

Hello neighbor. Kings are still around and biting good. You need to get out past the cold inshore water to find a good concentration. Fished Ft. Meyers yesterday, beach was 66 degrees in 45' it came up to 74 degrees. The big girls don't mind 66 degree water temp as long as bait is in good supply. It's typical of this time of year for the fish to be farther offshore. 1 week ago we fished a few of the local reefs without much success. Only bait out there was white grunt and ballyhoo. Pushed out to the 50' mark on a natural ledge and bingo, released 4 fish in 30 minutes biggest was a 56" 30lb smoker that blew up on a small runner. Sometimes you need to just cover ground to find them. If not there are big spanish just offshore real thick. Good luck out there.
