it's our own government making it worse. You see those closures! My buddy's are fishing Marco freakin Polo for gods sakes and only seeing oil within a mile of the beach. Thats like going to the damn flemish cap! Our government is at fault as well. Thats what they do though...Make a bad situation worse. Did you guys listen to his bullshit news conference? GAG!

I agree with you. There is no way that industry would be equipped to handle a single event such as this.

Gov. Jindal was screaming to get federal approvals to build sand berms to protect the coastline but the feds never lifted a finger until last week. Gov. Jindal was to the point where LA was going to start building the berms without a federal permit.

We can handle the elected federal officials though starting in November. Vote against ALL incumbents. Throw them all out. New people can't be any worse. Then throw them out after not more than two terms. Some good will get tossed with the bad but it is the only way to turn over the government.

they do studies on top of studies to evaluate the enviormental impact of sand on a fucking beach for gods sakes as the oil rolls in. They have boats just sitting in the damn slip with skimmers and everything...Billy Nungusser went in a couple of days ago and just confiscated them to protect barataria pass I think it was. This is rediculous. they have 400 prisoners working while the damn muslim in chief is in Grand isle and as soon as the cameras leave so do they. People taking this Hazwhoper course left and right with no way to put it to use. GD REDICULOUS!
