This Giant Roosterfish was caught by the Fostey Group on March 22nd with Capt. Chi Chi of Panama Sportfishing Lodge aboard the Crazy Talento about a few miles from PSFL, the fish inhaled a large Bonito on a Trevala with Torsa 40, the fish was released to fight another day, unfortunately we will never determined the exact weight of this fish, althought the average Roosterfish here in Panama range between 30 to 45lbs, we can safely guess this fish is over 80lbs. , another is not being able to take good picture of the fish when trying to release the fish unhurt so the photo shoot was cut very short, Captain Chi Chi who is very conservative in calculating the weight of this fish guessed the fish to be over 100 lbs as he have caught fish in the 70 to 80lb. range but with over 30 years fishing in this area he only " heard " of one other fish that hit triple digit anyway what a great catch, enjoy guessing !!!!
