I didn't realize he was doing this all over the internet. Maybe it is just easier to let the captain know the ill will and bad press that goober here is creating. Feel free to let the captain of that operation know your thoughts. info@sportfishingmaui.com

I caught released a white yesterday almost as big as the blue that the operation that you run errands for killed yesterday.

And I dont know how you guys do it there, but here in my "lame little fishing hole in the world", we got bitches that clean our boats and take our pictures. Aint that your job description?

Actually, I don't want to see him fired. He is just an over-eager young smart aleck that doesn't know right from wrong...yet. One would hope he would grow and mature but not outgrow his eagerness to fish. The guy is probably a good fisherman but is promoting himself and his employer in a very bad light. I can't imagine any public forum where his continued posting of dead marlin will be viewed favorably but he doesn't see that. He just wants to rub salt in the wound and argue. If money started coming out of his pocket because of this, he would see the error of his ways very fast. I got $10 that says this is the type of operation that tells the clients they have to kill the billfish to get a mount.

Hopefully, he just grows up or out-grows this attitude.

Best Catch: 1100 lbs black marlin released
Occupation: Sportboat capt & deckhand
Just my $.02
I don't have a problem with this guy (or anyone else) who posts the same reports on a bunch of websites. I do the same. I don't feel like re-writing a new report, unique to each site. That would be stupid. Guys like Jeff Rogers do it too--and I like his reports. They are a fair assessment of the bite over the past month in Kona.

This guy provides plenty of fodder for ridicule without bashing him for posting all over the net.
