Guatemala on a Budget - come on down

We had a cancellation at the lodge and I want to offer a great deal for anyone that can fish on short notice. Our open dates are Feb. 1 to Feb 10th. Here is the deal. Fly down to Guatemala City and we will pick you up and transport your crew to the Buenavista Sportfishing Lodge. It is about an hour drive from the airport. Once you arrive at the lodge you can lounge in the pool and enjoy an array of prepared appetizers and wait for the action to start on the following day.

Fish 3 days on the 26 prokat - Monkey Business. Guatemala offers some world class sailfishing and the Mahi have been running 30-50lbs. All non-alcoholic beverages and meals are included. All beverages (including beer) and meals are included on the boat.

Shoot me a PM or call or email if you are ready to take advantage of this opportunity.

Oh yea - the price - $1,400 per man plus airfair. Airfair has been running about $330 to $350 from most eastern states.

This is one hell of a deal. I just got back last night and I think I can speak for everyone that went on the trip. It was over the top. We had slow fishing - we averaged about 15 bites and 10 releases per day and every dolphin was over 20lbs and a couple we upwards of 45lbs. There were quite a few blue marlin sitings but we didn't see any.

The lodge is first class with a nice pool, large tiki hut bar, big screen TV, AC in all the rooms, queen size beds - all rooms are singles. Free Wifi and Phone usage back to the states. The meals are absolutely first class. We ate like kings. The running jokes was that we couldn't make it to dinner because the appetizers that were waiting for us when we came back from fishing were so good. Then they would bring out the dinner and we just had to eat again.

Our menu for the week was
Tradition Chicken and Rice with Jumbo shrimpDay 1
    Fillet mingon - Day 2
    Stuffed Chicken - Day 3
    Ceveche, Dolphin Day 4
    Lobster and Dolphin day 5

Each night had a different soup and the desserts were flan, fruit and cheese cake.
