ordered a bunch from your guys last year and they are super quality.. alltackle has never sent me a package that lost its vacuum seal unlike a lot of other shops in my local area.

keith i know it has to do with the colder weather but what is the background behind the greenies?! i know they are a lot hardier just wondering if anything other than the change in water temps and the food have anything else to do with it.. thanks

Greenies are caught on the flats and have been eating grass as opposed to the offshore small ballyhoo that have been eating plankton. Greenies poop green and Offshore Smalls poop red. Grass is simply a healthier diet than plankton for the juvenile ballyhoo. Greenies are typically caught on the flats in the late fall/winter seasons. We only sell Greenies.

not all baitmasters. you have to ask specifically for greenies.. but cut them out and call keith if you need them!! they ship fast and like i said before.. nothing come without the property vacuum seal..

unlike a lot of other bait companies baitmasters flash freezes their ballyhoo fresh!! and their magic brine is good also..

but you can make your own with kosher salt and a few tablespoons of baking soda...

    Thanks Sport!

I would actually like to get into making my own! First though I think I need to REALLY work on my cast net skills! Then I'll worry about brinning my own!

I am going to need a bunch right when I get back so I'll be ordering those! If I'm lucky I'll be able to catch the tail end of bluefin season!!

Wow.... that's quite a freezer you have there Keith.

I guess you weren't kidding when you said that you had room in the freezer for me at the WMO....

Very cool.... I didn't know that all you had were greenies. Good to know

I will be ordering a bunch from you in the spring.

Is the shipping costs any less through AllTackle rather than directly from Baitmasters? I put in an order to Baitmasters early in the fall and the guy was nice enough to call me to let me know that my $50 worth of bait was going to cost over $90 to ship to me. I wanted to try draggin' hoos but not wanting it bad enough for $90 worth of shipping.

I know some of the New England guys did a group buy in this spring of this year, I'd image that saves on shipping.
