I know this is probably better suited in the Boats forum, but I feel like more people read this one.

I get to look at a whole bunch of boats as a surveyor. Most days aren't bad, some days suck, but every now and then it is a true pleasure to do my job. I am fortunate right now because I had a consulting job on a Weaver Custom today- this is the 3rd Weaver that I have had the pleasure of crawling around, and every one is top notch. The attention to detail is second to none. Hats off to The Weaver Family, Chet Rohrbach and the rest of the team at Weaver- awesome.

Tomorrow morning I begin on a recently refurbished 38 Ricky Scarborough that alot of you followed the pic post of on this site. I am familiar with this rig, and cannot wait to survey it.

These two boats make up for every 1985 turd pile with loose bulkheads, oily bilges, cockroaches, moldy cabinets, holding tanks with bad vent lines, empty rusted up beer cans in the aft bilge... you name it, that I have to look at.
