Damn Howard 55 miles is a walk in the park for you!

Donnie Long keeps talking about comming down and fishing with you. As soon as we can get him well enough to fly we are there!

I heard the bite was on with the marlin off Carrillo--a friend of mine fished there last week and had a 500-pound black on the first day and got slammed the second day with a blue, stripey and a handful of sails.

    Pretty work Howwoooood!!

    caught our 4 bites today...

ran out to the seamount we fished a couple weeks ago. set out 51 miles from the marina under a circlin frigate.... on right long teaser comes a stripey. get him switched over and catch him. next comes a sail.... catch him. made a few loops there then trolled off to the sea mount. water started blendin bad but had alot of bait. everywhere .... hook a sail an dcatch him rite on top of the pinnacle. startedtrollin back toward my 1st marlin bite when another stripey terrorizes both bridge teasers. finally get him to eat a pitch and catch him. shoulda stayed there but fished in to where there was a few blue marlins seen tryin 2 catch another slam. oh well i cant complain that was our 30th marlin so far this season here only caught 44 last year til end of march... so we will see
