GRAND SLAM Miss Behav'in Los Suenos

The Marlin bite is on just in time for the 1st Los Suenos Marlin Tourney on Thur. We caught a Grand Slam today my 2nd ever! Ran out to the west today about 25 miles. Started fishing at 8:30. At 9 I see a something behind my Pink SquidNation Squids. It's a Marlin! Eats the Flat, a Tiagra30 with a swimming ballyhoo 8/0 Eagle Claw with 100#leader. Nice fish around 250# or so. Get him in about 20 mins. Back on the troll...catch a few nice Dorado. Catch a couple Sails. Fishing with the fleet in the afternoon. Lots and lots of Marlin seen/caught. Pull away from the fleet and the Black Bart lure on the short rigger BLOWS UP!! But...Nothing happens! A swing and miss!! BUT he comes back and eats the pitchbait on the Tiagra50 with a 10/0 Eagle Claw with 200# leader. GAME ON!! We got this one in about 35mins.Nice BLACK MARLIN around 300#!! Ended up with 4 Sails and the 2 Marlin, 4 Dorado. Rusty on the Prime Time had 3 Blues and like 10 Sails. LOTS O MARLIN AROUND!!!! Should be GOOD this week! A Great day of fishing!!
