I've always wondered...why in the sportfishing worlds is a "grand slam" only when you catch 3 types of different fish (there are many types obviously). In my opinion, shouldn't a true grand slam consist of 4 different fish? A grand slam is 4 in baseball. A true grand slam should be : bonefish, permit, redfish, tarpon. OR : white marlin, blue marlin, sailfish, and maybe tuna or sword.
Considering something to be a grand slam when you only catch 3 species is pretty lame if you ask me. Wrong terminology.
