Grand Slam 250 outriggers help

I am about to buy a pair of used Grand Slam 250 1.5" mounts, those are the ones with the fix mount. There aren't any bridges down here in panama and it seems like a good deal. Please share your experience with this outriggers.

They should be fine you are buying them used. what kinda poles you getting. i suggest using fixed poles vrs telescoping. I am not sure but if grandslam makes a pair of carbon riggers gett them they are that much stiffer than alluminum poles and they give a better release. I just got done building a 29' cc. Studied up on all sorts of differnt outriggers. any questions give me a shout mabye can help you out
