Fished the other day out of Grand Isle and got on the fish. Had to run out a long way to the blue water, but I found it. Had a weed line that had dirty water on one side and clear blue on the other. Put down a spread of Ballyhoo and in about 1 hour had 4 gaffer Mahis in the boat. Saw something busting on the water about 300 yards off to the right, pulled up the hoos and ran to it. Bam, Yellowfin and big ones, well big for me. Then right in the bite my t-top brakes and falls off. We got it before it fell in the water, had to tie it down the best we could. went back to fishing and buy the time it was all over we put 6 Yellowdogs in the boat. When the t-top broke off it ripped out the wirers to my GPS and radio. We had to come back by compass. What a day.

nice picking up some yellow ones. Did the welds crack or the bolts pull out. Sorry you had a rough couple of minutes. that would of scared the crap out of me if I was running and my t-top flew off out the back with the tlds in the rocket launchers.

The welds cracked. They started one by one until it just fell off.
