This was the exact case for Off the Hook's -Hinch Marina's CAPE MAY SHARK TOURNAMENT http://capemaysharktournament.com/

Since Mako Mania would of been a wash for me this year. I decided to head down to Cape May and see what CM SHARK was all about being its 3rd Annual tournament and its the 1st one I made it too.I have yet to fish it but boy let me tell ya its a good one!

There wasn't a huge amount of boats in any of the shark tournaments in Cape May this weekend but there was enough to keep the pot sweet with 24k in prize money Since there was only one qualifying shark 1st place went for 13k to Banker Catt. You can see the all day smiles, what a moment and what a feeling. They were still calling thier buddies all night long happy and excited.

Chuck and Mary were nice enough to put me up for the weekend so I didn't have to drive down everyday. Thank you very much for the hospitality guys, everything you guys do for me and my customers is truly appreciate.

Oh before I forget to tell you that you guys suck. It was very difficult to control myself all weekend with all the goodies that the shop carries and I managed not to buy anything! I whacked up my wallet earlier in the week. I love my new Aftco Belt and Harness I was sure to write my name in it and its already adjusted to fit me and me only MINE!

It was a good times weekend for sure I had a blast with it. I am proud to say that I know these people they are truly great people and I consider most of them great friends and future great friends!

Oh the food from Sharky's WAS EXCELLENT mmm mmm good crab legs BBQ chicken Shrimps Pulled Pork Baked Beans I think there was some healthy stuff too

Oh well I need some sleep I got a tour of Cape May last night and I am a bit tired. Well maybe hung over 1ST time drinking in many weeks didn't go over to swift!

I remember when they were putting this idea together 3 years ago....thought it was a great idea!!! Sounds like a bunch of fun...I was going to swing over before work...but figured I wouldn't want to leave.

Glad to hear everything went well!!!! Maybe next year I can get a crew together to fish it(just have to put my request for time off.....NOW )...

Julie B was the proud take home of the Mako Calcutta since no qualifing mako's were caught I asked if I could enter yesterday when I heard that..lol

Everyone fished hard and gave it thier best and it was a good time across the board and the food and people were outstanding!
