Good full day

Finally got in a full one. Overcast with showers but at least the wind was down...
Morning was slow with a couple dolphin, lots of cudas, and a few wahoo clip offs. Had a marlin (Big white or small blue) come up and shag a lure for a while but no eat.
Afternoon the bite improved on the joulters side. Dolphin got bigger and thicker. Had a baby sail try its luck with a marl9in class bait but it couldn't get its mouth around it. Missed one blue then another spooled us. Had a final bite in the deep but don't know what that one was.
All in all a good day. Lots of action.No laundry flappin but I won't whine...

How did you get spooled? What lb class gear were you fishing?

The one that spooled us was on a 30wide with 50 topshot over jerry brown. We bowed it up then got covered in dolphin. Lot of chaos going on. It hit the afterburners into the abyss... Only have two anglers and we had five rods go down. We had a trainwreck cooking and I had no window to go back or forward on. Happened quick and all we can do is write it off as "one of those things" reach the knot and pull the hook all you can do is reload and try again...

Deep from what direction had the wind been blowing? You didnt mention it in your earlier post and you seem to have been getting a consistent number of shots.
