History is a funny thing most folks won't acknowledge the past - Steve Richardson's brother, Gary caught 104 marlin on the Bonte'. Graham Farmer, Gary's dad, Ricky and Sue Haycox. We watched them all on the bow casting into the balls, backing away and fighting the fish to leader releases. I was working with Steve and we only had 2 spinning rods - we caught 30 on the single engine Bobkat. Got spooled on one rod.

big difference in casting into bait balls and dropping back and hooking up on the troll. don't get me wrong, fun...but, a different game for sure.
