    "Git Bit" Custom, Hampton VA???

Can someone please indentify the builder of this custom?

A pic was posted in the MD, VA fishing report section (Jet Ski Post) and a few members are trying to identify the builder.

It is an awesome looking rig.

I tried a vessel indentification search under the name with no luck.

    Thanks in advance.

The tower is way to wide. It should be about half as wide and it would look so much better. It is a great looking hull.

I agree, however the lines on this boat to me are awesome. I love the look of this hull. I need to find the builder so I can pull ot the check book and get one!

    Anyone?

The first boat i thought of when i saw the pictures was the old Hera boat. Man that boat has been through some hands. I think Waverly Sawyer had it built by Ricky in the mid eighties? I think it was like hull number 8 or something like that. Dr. Cooper who is a vet here in Elizabeth City bought it and kept it in Hatteras for years. I have fished with Dr. Cooper a ton of times and that was a pretty nice boat, no bells and whistles, but there was a lot of blood spilled on the deck. The boat would dart pretty badly coming off a wave. Dr. Cooper sold the boat probably 10 years ago or so to Stuart Morrison and some other fellow. I saw it regularly out of OI durring the summer I guess it was running near shore trips.
Anyway back to the point of the original post, If it isnt the Hera, it definitely looks like a Scarborough.

It's not the HERA...CB&T has a thread running with her (HERA) for sale...if I can find it I'll attach it to this post.
