Thanks Grumpea

Well we made it out. My partners alarm didn't go off so he showed up 45 mins late. The seas were expected to build to 6 ft so we ran to the 14 bouy. I was really looking for wahoo, my freezer is bare except for some dolphin and moma loves dolphin. We got caught in some rain storms and my partner doesn't do well in storms on the water so we stayed until the storms past. I had been talking to one of the charter guys at the Rock and he had had a couple Hoo's by 930. We had a half hour of blistering action, planer went off three times, once I was putting and something railed it and pulled the line right out of my hand. We boated one small King, a Bonita and 3 peanuts. The seas laid out so we started making our way to the rock when the captian I had been speaking to calles to me to come out. They had had 10 knockdowns and 3 Hoo's in the boat. We pulled in ahd ran out, lines back in at 1230. We worked the inside drop with him, saw him stop several times but we couldn't get a bite. I started looking at how the baits were rigged and saw some basic rigging errors. My partner had sold his boat and hadn't had a chance to work the pit much. Anyway we worked the area for about another hour and a half, got one more peanut when the wind started to build. I called the captain back and he had seven Hoo's in the boat and missed 4 more. No bills were seen yesterday but the wahoo action is happenin. He was pulling a diver, I can only assume he was talking about a planer, and blue and white. Looks like the wind is going to blow this weekend or I would be back out there. Haven't seen any posts for AB reports so here is what has been happenin here.
