    Game Fishing New Zealand

Further to my 1st post yesterday ( Without Pics ) I have figured out how to load some so here we go. These are highlights from down under

    1. My 1st Striped Marlin for the 07/08 Season landed 3rd January 08. T&R Est 100Kg

    2. My 1st ever Marlin landed way back in 1993. I found this photo only a couple of days ago and I had tjhought it was gone forever

    3. This was one of the biggest Blues caught this season. I believe approx 415KG and landed out the back of Great Barrier Island not 60nm from Auckland City.

    4. This Yellow fin when weighed in at 92KG I believe and was only 3kg shy of the NZ record. Worth noting that it had been on ice for 3 days before getting back to the weigh station and would have smashed the record easy.

    5. Another nice Blue of 215Kg caught out of small boat ex Tauranga

    6. And finally some Gannett action. This is from the other day chasing Snapper and Yellow Tail Kingfish out in the Hauraki Gulf. At this time of the year the fish are out deep and action like this is what we are looking for when the Icy Winter Weather allows.

And if you want to see one of the wildest bit of fishing action from down under then have a look at this link .

Its Gannet man aka Matt Watson who puts together one of the best Fiahing Programmes out

    Will catch up soon.

The next bite on a jig.
Those boats have some wild pipe work. If you had that here folks would look twice.

    Welcome aboard!!

    Welcome aboard!

The last picture is really cool and I also like the aluminum boat. Congrats on finding the picture of your first marlin
