    Frying Pan Shoals Shortcut Lat/Lon?

Can anyone give me the numbers for the shortcut channel that goes through frying pan shoals off of Southport, NC?

I am going from South to north. Supposively there are buoys on both ends of the cut but I don't have any numbers.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

We came through the cut last Spring on the way home from Isla, if no one gets them for you I will try and find them tomorrow. The bouys were there then.

the bouys are still there and are on your chart, if there not on your chart then you have way to old a chart and would update it asap if making the run south.

If I knew they were on my chart I wouldn't be asking this question. Problem is I have an old Northsatr 952 that I will be replacing anyway.

Often times these buoys move from year to year anyway.

what kind of boat are you running? A center console doesn't need to go all the way out to the buoy cut, just run up the shoals until you find a cut with no white water.

Call me Mike, running a private rig south right now. Made Charleston today from Wrightsville...short day for us. Stopping in St. Augustine today and then Stuart finally on Wednesday. You should have seen OI yesterday!

I can fill you in...guess you picked up a new ride, eh? Congrats! I'll have my cell...
