I don't usually report when fishing on other boats but this was a fun trip. My good friend Dave "the Insurance King Kusel" invited me on his 41 Luhrs express for a trip to the South Toms. We had an Allstar crew aboard with Capt Gene Quigley, The Neidhardt Brothers (Jason and Brian) Rich Zopp and myself. Starting on the troll we immediately had a White Marlin hit a bally rig and miss and then shortly after a White is boated that hit a green machine spreader bar.

We set up on 500 ft of water at 72 degrees. After the squid showed up we went 5 for 11 on Yellowfins that were about 70 lbs and made my back feel like they were 90 lbs. All caught on live squid. Despite the variable wind forecast,It was a little sporty out there in 15-20 SW which made the landing of fish a little challenging. Overall a great trip.
