Santa came early last night I tell ya.......he was wearing brown and driving a big brown panel truck but I tell ya it was Santa. I guess he wears different hats.

After opening up the package I found two BIG FAT BOYS and a Daisey Bar.

Cant wait to pull them! I know this thing will raise the FAT BOYS too.

Ha-ha! You're sorta right, Lee, but it ain't worthless to Ace and Buff...These are new products and we have some pictures of fish on 'em (I posted some not long ago), but Ace hasn't fished his yet. The Buffer has and got a marlin (a whiteboy on that big booger!) and at least one tuna. Got video, too, but said it came out badly. So, we're gonna wait for the boys and those who bought FatBoys during our recent sale to catch some "local" fish on them for pictures. Pictures of brutes from other places just don't seem to have the impact that local fish do, and that is completely understandable.

I posted some picts of the FatBoy Squids themselves and one of the bars that we run them on on another thread here, but here's another look...plus one "little" fish that glommed one of those big boogers in Hawaii...just for the hell of it. (Wahoo seem to love the damned things.) The 'hoo had a kinda cool story behind it. The angler was Capt Clay Cling, a top Hawaiian charter captain. The very next fish on this bar was what he estimated to be a 500# black one that he fought for a long time, then had a wahoo bite his swivel and cut the marlin off. Good for business, bad for Cappy Clay!

(The blue and white one is a good skipjack or bluefish imitation, while the mahi one is going to be a blue marlin magnet!)

Meantime, Lee, please be patient. Based on what has been happening elsewhere, there will be some good picts coming along...and when Wound Up James gets his, well, you know what's going to happen!

Plannin a GBT trip soon as the wind lays. You can bet this baby wil be in the spread. And with that FAT BOY chasing them little buggers on the Daisey Chain...I now itll be hard to turn down. Not to mention the 14/0 RODDY HAYES GAFF/HOOK should make short work of one. Ill put a picture or two soon as I get her in the spread. Might even get offshore and put a SLOB WAHOO on the deck with it too.

That captain's name is Clay Ching, super nice guy. He is an inshore,Ulua, omilu guide on the tiny island of Molokai. Not sure if i would classify him with the "Top" charter captains in Hawaii, that may be a bit misleading.
