Fred Archer books

I am new to the board and am looking forward to the wealth of information that is available. I currently fish a 27TE worldcat out of Orange Beach Alabama. I have mostly bottom bumped and vertical jigged but as the Gulf seasons have imploded am trying to get into the trolling game. Main targets are yellowfin, wahoo and dolphin. I am an equal opportunity fisherman though( if it bites I'll fight it). My first question for the forum is about Fred Archer. I have heard of his books and techniques for years but have been unable to find them in print. I find this forum and there he is. I have never tried E- books before and need a suggestion on which of his books to try first. Sorry for the long post and thanks for the insights.

Freds books are a great learning tool. Add the knowledge found in his books with whats provided on sportfishermen.com and you might get fishing info overload (if that is even possible haha)

Thanks for the comments. I have heard alot about Fred and have waded through his catalog. Which book for fishing for the listed species would you try first? I am leaning towards his wahoo bible or the first trolling book.

From what you have stated as your target species we recommend the Wahoo Trollers Bible. Captain Fred includes tips on other fish such as Dolphin, Marlin, Sailfish etc.

Because there is no lure that only catches a certain type of fish, it would be hard to write a book about fishing for any pelagic like Wahoo without mentioning these other species.

Good read with lots of info.
