It was a bit of a tough trip...we were hoping to get back on the big fish, but when we got close to our numbers, we called the scallop captain only to find him 30 miles to the south and steaming for port. Most of the other boats had left as well, in anticipation of the weather...we ran all over the place, think we were almost in the hudson, but we finally found the fish. The captain was kind enough to give us a rough idea of where he'd be early the next morning and we were able to hook up with him on the way in and catch a couple more and make for a good ending. who knows where these fish will go now that they've lost their food chain...hopefully they will hang around a bit, but we won't know for a while.
