Male, blue parrot fish I think Alex
Love fishing for Yellow tails. An local old timer in key west told me to chum with cracked yellow corn along with the fish chum, boy did it work good.
Great report pictures, Tim...

Like fishing in an aquarium! About what depth were you in?
That close up of the parrot is incredible...

Alex, It was a Blue Parrotfish, there were about 7 or 8 of them behind the boat. I was very surprised we caught it as they have a set of chompers on them and we were using very small hooks
Lee, Them yelowtails were damn good eating that's for sure. No cracked corn but we were using horse feed oats to mix in with the chum slurry
Biscuit, No we did not eat the parrotfish, no one even mentioned it actually so im not sure what the table fair would be on it. They were very pretty.
Jacque, It was definitely like a fish bowl. We had a big amberjack come up and hang around for a while also and there where always things darting around in the slick. We were pretty shallow. 45 to 50 feet of water.
Thanks for the kind words guys.
