    Mid March Keys Fishing

Been down there for a couple months each spring for 13 years. Bottom fish on the reef good then. Grouper yellowtails and snapper. snapper fishing fun on the gulf side then too. Tarpon just starting then but may be a little later with this cold winter.Get ahold of Scott @ Tailwalker charters. He will catch you whatever is willing to bite @ that time of year inshore or offshore. Great time to fish when the wind lets you go. Have fun.

lower Keys I would take a boat out of Murrary marine, here are the ones I would charter and have chartered them. I got married in key west and had a wedding tournament using these captains.

I'll give OU a third nomination. Islamorada is the center of all things wet. Their operation is nothing short of first class...

as everyone said bottom fishing is still great as well as swordin. I'm from the keys and from past experiences i think you should have a good shot at sails still especially if your kite fishing.
