i asked myself the same question.. the gloves i didnt have a choice.. the fish came up.. i hit it with the leader and it was game time.. did not feel like waiting as we wanted to back down on the other fish.. they do not chew you up bad if you just mouth them..Originally Posted by deadbaiter
i would never bill anything other than a little sail without gloves.. it is not that bad at all if you grab the bottom part of the mouth and stuff. they are not powerful enough to do damage..
also i kinda looked at the flags upright myself but noticed that most of the charter guys down there do fly em like that.. kinda strange i know and i saw the miss britt out there with one flying and it was upright so i figured they boated one until we hung ours the same way!!
maybe the good fishing and great weather is getting to them!! ahah
