    Florida fishing

What's happening in S. Florida. I am gonna be there tomorrow for a couple of days in Stuart and Ft. Lauderdale. Anything worth wetting a line?

Not really just kings and maybe a sail if you are lucky.

The reds were biting out of Ft Pierce earlier this week. And the bluefish bite was off the hook at the Rhodes Fishing Village.

    Call me dude.

Nice! Jack looks stoked dude. Headed down to Rhodes marina right now. Hopefully we can slide some rod time in in the next couple of days.

Nimrod .. how many 'different fish' did you catch that day?

.. thats one thing about fishing in south Florida you have the chance to catch so many 'different fish' just fishing in the rivers or shores if you get out there with a bucket of shrimp live or dead. you get blue fish to black drum, snappers, blue fish, pompanos, jacks, puffer fish , etc .. great time just watching the flats and birds... in my opinion anyway..

Funny you should ask Quest. My son is enjoying telling people that we caught 7 different types of fish on day one including redfish, bluefish, pinfish, ladyfish, sheepshead, pompano, and jack crevalle (no luck with the trout). We added catfish and some kind of snapper on the following half days. I'm not sure if he is more excited about the mutliple types of fish we caught or the fights that the nice size reds, blues, ladies and sheepshead gave him.

This was a birthday trip for him. I hope to have a report with pictures up soon.
