    Roddy,
Just spoke to Scott he is 7 miles from Whale Cay. He said he would call me when it is weighed. No it was not on my lure but his 771# was on my Lydonia Lady and Double Dogs grander this year was on the same lure. Scott also weighed a 517# in Bermuda on my NightHawk. I will find out what he caught this one on.

    mmm, Mrs Hays.
Yep, just got the same phone call. Fish was weighed at Treasure. No doubt it would have made the mark when fresh. Reckon on 5 to 10% loss over 24 hours with gaff wounds and dehydration.

Shame for the boys. Hope someone eats the fish.......epic tale for years to come.....

Anybody have any experience or knowledge on the amount of weight loss that would occur after 48hrs? Just curious as to what her weight may have been when she was finally hit with the flyer?

She looks pretty dried out and crusty. Big girl too bad she bellied up.
