Floaters come in all the popular colors including amber and a brownish color. They are expensive but as Mary pointed out they are made and injected here in the good ole US of A.
We too have been putting floats in our squids for 12 years but Floaters are quite a bit different. Rigging a standard float inside a shell squid has always been limited as to the size float you’re able to fit into the squid body. In most cases this float will ride in the nose and only keep that portion of the squid in shape. Floaters are completely filled throughout the body cavity and therefore will hold the shape perfectly.
Due to the cavity being completely filled the entire squid will ride on the surface, not just the nose end, which creates less drag and more splash and action. As a plus your entire rig is sure to float which means less lost tackle.
