The tuna fishing has been absolutely as good as it gets, Sat. especially. After you catch a couple of tuna, and things are looking good. Sometimes you get right back to the set up and not get a bite the rest of the day. Well, this past weekend, there was not doubt about doubling up as quick as you could get the baits out after each fish. They were there in big numbers and eating. Although it was the hottest weekend that I have felt so far with the heat, it didn't seem to slow the bite down at all. Usually when they bite this good one day, unfortunately, they probably, not definitely, hit the peak of the bite and it will slow down for a couple of days. Sunday was a very good day as well, not as fast as Sat. but I blame the slick calm conditions for that. The dolphin also made a good showing, between both boats out on Sunday we had 10 dolphin, bulls and cows mixed, all good size. The tuna and dolphin bite should stay good and the cobia should start to show up big time now that we have moved into August. We have open days this week and next. If you want to get the kids out fishing before school starts, for most anyway, we have a boat open on Fri. and Sun. I will let the pics tell the rest of the report.
