Fishing in St. Martin

My brother and new sister in law are flying into St. Martin tomorrow morning and would like to get out off shore fishing a day or two. I am looking to see if anyone has fished down there and had a good boat to recommend. They want to have just the two of them out there along with the Capt. and mate. Also he does not want to pay for a large charter boat maybe in the 25-30' range.

I appreciate any suggestions that you can make and I will get the info to him if he does not read it on here himself first.

Max is a good skipper and has tidy gear. Alternatively, you could also try contacting Ricky Smith on caribpower2004@hotmail.com. He has an outboard boat down there and fishes the tournaments. Tell him I sent you.

There's a few more guys down there too. If you want marlin, you'll be running up the to the east into snotty weather most days, so pack some wet weather gear. There are some nice sized dorados are around at the moment, and you'll always be in with a shout of a yellowfin or wahoo.
